The School of Technology of Abrantes, the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar, will start in the 2009/2010 school year in an Advanced Training Management Information for Health (2ªEdition). The target audiences are Hospital Managers and Directors.

Information Systems and Knowledge Management Organization is the element of connection between the different components of the Hospital Management. Also, the quality of Healthcare Services can benefit from the development of Information Technology.

The course aims to qualify the managers of Healthcare Services with the knowledge needed to define and develop a strategy of Information Systems within the Healthcare Organizations in accordance with the advances of technology in different fields and with the international standards.

The Hospital Management science will be associated with the tools of Information Technologies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of management.
